Pladderballe Kalapøjser

Pours a very very dark brown color, very close to moving into stout territory fellas. Has a nice big tan head but with no staying power it just fades away rather quickly. Aroma is a little malty but more worrying it is also kind of metallic. The taste also has that rather metallic taste, it is also quite bitter. There is a tiny carmel and maybe a bit of chocolate but any real subltle flavors are obliterated by an overpowering bitterness (overlapping, or possibly pour mashing). Not a great mouthfeel either. Harsh and boring to odd flavor. It has nothing I look for in a brown ale.
