East India Pale Ale
Type: English IPA
Alcohol: 6.9%
Country: USA
Poured a light orange color with a very small white head that disappeared quickly. Nose is floral hops with a bit more sweet malt sneaking in then I am used to in an IPA. The taste is hoppy, but not citrusy, more a grass and floral taste with a quick transition into bready malt . The mouthfeel is slightly creamy and bitter, not as dry as I would like. Not sure what to make of this beer. It is no secret I am a huge fan of american style IPAs because of the big hoppy and cirrus fruit taste. None of that is present here, but I can tell it is a well made beer and probably truer to the original IPA then many American hopped versions. Still it is not exactly for me.
