Pours a cloudy deep yellow with a fluffy thin white head and a lot of bubbles. Smells spicy and a little fruity, but not a lot of aroma going on. The taste is not strong banana like I expect from most weiss beers. There are a lot of bread notes mixed with fruits and cloves. It has a very velvety smooth wheat mouthfeel. It is a very yeast rich beer, but it doesn't have the annoyingly cloying ripe banana taste that usually turns me off of this type of beer. This is probably my favorite hefeweizen of them all, and made in America to boot!
