Dark pour with a big two finger beige head. Roasted malt and licorice aroma with a subtle sweetness. There is nothing subtle about the sweetness in the taste. A nice straight ahead stout with roasted notes and a little chocolate. But the the lactose hits you head on. It is a little overwhelming with the sweetness. It does remind me a little of chocolate milk, but not nearly enough chocolate taste to make up for the overwhelming sweetness. A little disappointed in this one.
