Country: Scotland I love IPAs, and this one caught my eye in the beer aisle immediately  With a name like punk ipa it has to be good right? Well I have had good luck with brew dog beers in the past, and I was interested in tasting an American IPA from a British brewer. Poured a pretty typical IPA color, straw color with an orange tint. Small head that dissipated quickly. I smell a lot of citrus fruits, lemon, grapefruit and a nice floral buzz. The taste follows the nose by giving a big burst of grapefruit and floral hops followed by a nice balanced biscuity malt aftertaste. It is really refreshing and has a nice clean mouthfeel. This is my favorite kind of IPA. Low alcohol and without an insanely over the top hop load. Nice citrusy and easy drinking, would be an awesome session beer if it were a little cheaper in Denmark. Rating:
