Midwestern Pale Ale
Type: American Pale Ale
Alcohol: 5.3%
Country: USA
I decided I would drink this beer for national beer day. My brother sent it from Michigan, so it felt fitting to drink a beer from the homeland to celebrate the end of prohibition.
This beer pours a nice super hazy unfiltered (thanks you bell's) orange color. Minimal fluffy white head, but it has staying power. The aroma is hay and a little bit of hop funk. Not much there. The taste is actually much more bitter then i thought it would be. Not a lot of hop taste but a decent little bitter bite. Malts in the background but not really any discernible flavors. The taste is kind of forgettable, certainly easy drinking but nothing really jumps out at you. It was a perfectly respectable American pale ale for the occasion.
