Pours jet black with a thick two finger tan head. The head dissipates quickly leaving behind generous lacing. The smell is kind of underwhelming but the coffee really does come though the most. The taste is very coffee forward, but not like in most imperial stouts where the coffee flavor comes more from roasted malts then actual coffee. Supposedly this is because the coffee is put directly into the mash. We had a blast reviewing this beer together and we hope you enjoy watching.
