I know in most places fall is upon you, the long sleeves and pants are in regular rotation and Octoberfests and pumpkin brews and red ales are abundant. Here in the desert ,however, summer is just ending, night time temps are just starting to drop and reality of school and work lives kicking into full gear again is setting in. Driving home from a long 12 hour shift at the hospital, I needed something to remind me of what summer tasted like, and to wash down the enormous stake burrito I had bought for dinner. In comes Tandem Double IPA,the first beer I've had from Las Vegas, Nevada. A great flavored beer, the bitterness you'd expect out of a double IPA, with this high an Alcohol content, and all the deliciousness of a good summer brew, combining a great fruity citrus background with the bitterness of the hops. I'd say definitely give this beer a sip if you have the chance, it was the perfect relaxation for me after a long day. Last but not least I like to comment on a beers, label as well, because you can have a great beer, but a shit bottle, and this one does a great job of having great art, that makes you feel like a man that would appreciate a good beer with a classic american cut looking man, with what can only be described as a super fuckable illustration of a woman on the back seat of the bike! So kick back, enjoy, and let this beer wash away your hard days work!
