Had a taste for something hoppy on draft today. Pours a pretty clear copper color with a really nice size thick white head. I mean look at that thing, i could have floated a five kroner coin on there (it's a big coin). It leaves really nice lacing behind as I drink it down. Pronounced grapefruit smell, very fresh but not much else. The taste is the different part. Not very carbonated so smooth and velvety mouthfeel. The taste is all about hops here. Lots of tropical fruit but with a strange but pleasant little floral notes in the background. A bitter finish, but not so that it interrupts the fruity hop flavors. A pretty good pale ale but not with the pinch I was looking for today. This would be easy drinking on a summer day but on a harsh cold day like today I think I will have to trade up to something with more punch.
