Next on my tour of Kvickly’s Ølfestival 2012 I come to the offering by Vejle Bryghus. It is a classic style pilsner, which is quite popular here in Denmark. This one is made with the addition of camarel malts which add a nice sweet roasted flavor to the mix. It is a very smooth refreshing beer with that characteristic pilsner bitter bite to the finish. I will always go with a classic pils over a normal anyday and if they all tasted like this I would be a lot happier at bars and restaurants.
