This American double IPA is a little different the. Similar ones I have had in the past. It pours a dark amber color and smells lightly of hops and citrus. I expected a big bitter rush of hops and pine when drinking but instead I is very mild and smooth. You can certainly taste the hops but they are not overpowering and really let the citrus taste come through. Nice beer on a warm afternoon in the city.
