Pours an amber color with a big white almost two finger head. The smell is of a very nice ale, malty bread notes with traces of licorice and spice. Nice bread taste with a definite kick from the Christmas spice. Pick up a little toffee and a nicely balanced hoppy finish. It is a nice refreshing Christmas beer that is balanced and not too heavy handed with the spices.
