This is a brown ale brewed for, and named after a British style pub in my wife’s home town. It was actually one of the first bars I ever went to with her way back when I was only 18. So this brings back great memories for me. But more importantly this is a really really good brown ale. Incredibly nutty flavor with a sweet almost syrupy finish. It has a complex nuts and caramel taste that finishes smooth and leaves you wanting more. This is a beer that is a pleasure to drink and will go down in my top brown ales of all time.
